Chen Minmin is a Patent Associate of Amica Law LLC and a qualified patent agent in China.
She has patent-related experience in the United States, China, and Singapore, with roles in private practice and in-house. Her work experience spans from technology transfer, to patent litigation and invalidation, patent search, drafting and prosecution, as well as to portfolio management and consulting services.
Chen Minmin possesses a multi-disciplinary technical background, in fields of engineering and life sciences. She has nearly 10 years of scientific research training and scientific research experience in the fields of materials science, neuroengineering, and medical instrumentation.
Experience
Chen Minmin is a qualified patent agent in China. She obtained two Master’s degrees in Biomedical Engineering, from Johns Hopkins University, U.S, and Peking Union Medical College, Tsinghua University, China, as well as a Bachelor’s degree in Material Science and Engineering from Tianjing University of Science and Technology.
Chen Minmin previously worked on patent evaluations at the Johns Hopkins Technology Transfer Office (now Technology Ventures Office). Subsequently, she worked in the IP department of a leading law firm in Beijing, China, supporting patent litigation and invalidation work as a patent agent and legal executive. Following that, she conducted patent drafting, filing, and prosecution in the Singapore office of an international patent firm.
Prior to joining Amica Law LLC, she was an IP executive at a major energy company in Singapore, developing and maintaining their patent portfolios as well as advising on patent landscaping and freedom to operate matters.

Chen Minmin is a member of the All-China Patent Agents Association and a councilor of the Beijing Intellectual Property Law Society.
