Christabel Lim is an Associate Director with Amica Law LLC. Her practice focuses on intellectual property protection and management, and she also advises on intellectual property agreements and data protection matters. She graduated with a LLB (Hons) degree from the London School of Economics & Political Science (LSE) in 2012, and was called to the Singapore Bar in 2015. Christabel has been recognised by The Legal 500 as an “up-and-coming practitioner in the field of trade mark protection”.

• Advising a global pharmaceutical company on data protection compliance issues

•  Advising a leading food delivery company on licensing and regulatory issues for payment service providers and assisting with the submission of their payment services licence application with the Monetary Authority of Singapore

Memberships & Qualifications

 

Christabel is a member of the Data Protection Committee of the International Trade Mark Association (INTA). She is also a member of the Licensing Executives Society (Singapore), the Institute of Singapore Trade Mark Agents (ISTMA) and the International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP). She also holds a Certified Information Privacy Professional/Europe (CIPP/E) qualification.

Christabel is an Associate Mediator with the Singapore Mediation Centre (SMC) and volunteers as a mediator with the Consumers Association of Singapore (CASE). She has been appointed by the Urban Redevelopment Authority (URA) as an Assessor to determine applications for reimbursement of purchasers’ claims under Part 8C of the Covid-19 (Temporary Measures) Act (COTMA).
