Eugene Yang is a Patent Attorney with Amica Law LLC. He focuses mainly on helping clients obtain intellectual property protection with patents, and advising on potential conflicts with existing patents, in the course of the client’s business endeavours.

 

He obtained his B.Sc. (Honours, First class) in Chemistry in 2008 and Ph.D. in Chemistry in 2013 from the National University of Singapore (NUS), and Graduate Certificate in Intellectual Property Law with Distinction in 2017 awarded by the IP Academy of Singapore in collaboration with the NUS Law Faculty. Prior to joining the firm, Eugene worked as a Research Fellow in the Department of Pharmacy, of NUS on multi-disciplinary medicinal chemistry projects in collaboration with clinicians and biologists.
