Jeanne Ng is a Senior Patent Associate of Amica Law LLC, and has been in practice for over 15 years, focusing on intellectual property with a primarily focus in IP protection of Patents.

 

Jeanne graduated from the National University of Singapore with a B.Sc (Merit) degree in General Chemistry and Mathematics in 1996. Her areas of studies include organic chemistry, inorganic chemistry, analytical chemistry and physical chemistry. She also undertook general mathematics and computational science.

 

Jeanne completed the FICPI’s South East Asian Patent Drafting (SEAD) certification in 1998 and the Graduate Certificate Course in Intellectual Property Law in 2003.

• Preparing, applying for and obtaining a patent application in Singapore and foreign countries such as Malaysia, Indonesia and Brunei

• Preparing response to Written Opinions/Office Actions and prosecution of patent applications

• Patent portfolio management

• Conducting searches to determine patentability of an invention, preparing search reports

• Counselling clients on patenting, and prosecuting patents

• Drafting amendments to patent specification

• Advising on patentability of inventions based on prior art search results
