PATENTS, TRADE MARKS & DESIGNS
We assist clients in patents, designs and trade marks, including clearance, protection and management, as well as attending hearings in the patent and trade mark offices and in court. Other services we provide include conducting IP audits and due-diligence exercises, preparing and reviewing IP agreements, advising media and advertising law and regulations, consumer and product regulations and unfair competition. Our patents team can assist you in identifying the value of your inventions and developing a patent portfolio and patenting strategy. The team has specialised capabilities in biotechnology, computer software, electromechanical systems, chemicals and engineering. Our services include preparing specifications for patents in Singapore and worldwide, as well as prosecuting, managing and preparing all related patent documentation.
LITIGATION & ENFORCEMENT
We are experienced in handling all types and aspects of contentious IP disputes, as well as seeking or resisting urgent interim relief like injunctions, search and seizure and asset-freezing orders, and are ready to litigate matters through trial and appeal. We handle domain name disputes and Internet piracy matters, as well as plan and manage anti-counterfeiting programmes. We also have experience in information technology disputes, such as disputes in software projects and technology licensing. Our cases have involved complex matters relating to immunodeficiency virus, optical devices, offshore exploratory platforms, marine engineering apparatus, electronic storage devices, pharmaceutical compositions and material sciences.
